Please give us a short summary of your website?
A site which puts Beatles website owners in touch with each other with a view to exchangin links and banners with each other. The site only accepts Beatles related websites.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
It was a natural progression after building another two sites Beatles Search engine and the Beatles memorabilia site.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
Beatles Direct in Jan 2007 - a collection of e bay items for sale soon after this progressed to the site beatles memorabilia - http://beatles-memorabilia.50webs.com
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I chose a name which reflected the content of the site.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
I havent found anything similar on the web.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I intend to keep the site and maintain it as a habby.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
I have no goals except to enjoy the experience.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would move away from free hosting and buy a domain name.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I'm not sure - hadnt really thought about that I might have to enlist the help of other family members.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
None.
What has been your biggest challenge?
Getting the site to work - getting the logic right and making sure there are no broken links.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?
Becoming a member of the Beatlelinks network.
How has running your website differed from your expectations?
No takers yet but its early days (ie link submissions.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?

What is your ultimate goal
I now run three seperate beatles websites the ultimate goal is to build a few more and amalgamate them in to one great Beatles experience.
