There is no doubt that Michael Jackson's death is the biggest celebrity story of the year. The impact of his death and the buzz that it created was so huge that it did something that no ordinary news item can, and that is to bring down the servers of some big websites, like Google News, TMZ, and Twitter, among others.

It only takes one man to almost bring down the Internet after all.
