Please give us a short summary of your website?
PLAYASTREAM.COM is an online community where members are able to set up unique personal profiles that can be linked together through networks of artists, fans, promoters & resources unique to these such as venues and production studios.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
The need to provide a real platform for artists of all walks of life and professional categories so that they can voice themselves without the fear of commercial expectations diminishing or embellishing what they have to say.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
TheClubVenue and BB Kings. I launched it in June of 2006
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I wanted a name that was simple and that resonated with only a few syllables. I cam up with playastream because that is just what we are asking our users to do. Play a video or audio stream
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
We feature live concerts and lots of contests giving our users a chance to win lots of cool stuff.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
My eventual goal is the keep it for income and for fulfilling our mission.
How does your investment of time and money balance against your success?
so far we are building this empire and hopefully it will pay off.
If you had an unlimited development budget for development, how would you change your site?
I would do what i started out to do and that is hold our major contests called battle for the unsigned artists in every state in the USA.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
I believe we are prepared for that kind of growth. That is rapid growth.
What unexpected costs and headaches have you had to deal with?
Wow, too many to name them all here. Lets just say, the internet is full of bandits and one has to be on the look out or otherwise it is easy to be had by programmers and so called programmers.
What has been your biggest challenge?
raising capital to keep our bills paid.
What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

How has running your website differed from your expectations?
It consumes all one's free time.
How long have you run the site already, and how long will you continue to keep it up if you don't enjoy big gains in traffic, income or popularity?
It will be a year in March. I plan of on keeping it going until we successfully complete or mission.
